We have been so blessed with Mrs. McRee and will greatly miss her in this wonderful room of little ones and will be praying for her. This position starts at the upcoming school year, and we are now taking applications for our nursery Little Lamb classroom teacher.
Mendy Hollis, 1 Year Old Teacher
Meet our Little Tiger classroom (1 year old) teacher Mendy Hollis. She is currently enrolled in the Early Childhood Development program through the University of Alabama. This is Ms. Hollis’ second year at the Early Learning Center. Her specialty is bilingual introduction. Each day as the Little Tiger classroom explores their surroundings and uses their own words they will also be introduced to a different word in a different language each day. Studies show how important it is to not only subject the child to new and/or common words everyday but to introduce bilingual words as well. This will allow the children to broaden their language development skills. Ms. Hollis has a heart for teaching and loving each and every child that comes through her classroom.
